Our Story
Leaf2Root was born from a simple observation: mental health resources should be as accessible and grounded as they are transformative. As therapists, educators, and advocates, we saw a gap between clinical knowledge and practical, everyday tools that people could use on their healing journey.
We believe that growth happens from the inside out—from the deepest roots of our experiences to the newest leaves of our potential. That's why we create resources that honor both the depth of therapeutic work and the practical reality of daily life.
Whether you're a mental health professional looking for evidence-based tools for your practice, or an individual seeking support for your own journey, Leaf2Root provides resources that are clinically sound, trauma-informed, and genuinely helpful.
Our Mission
To bridge the gap between clinical expertise and accessible mental health support by creating high-quality, evidence-based resources that empower individuals and professionals on their paths to healing and growth.
Evidence-Based
Every resource we create is grounded in current psychological research and therapeutic best practices, ensuring you're getting tools that actually work.
Trauma-Informed
We design with care, recognizing that healing happens in an environment of safety, choice, and empowerment.
Accessible
Mental health support shouldn't be gatekept. We create resources that are affordable, understandable, and usable for real people in real situations.
Meet the Creator
Anna Whisler
Anna is a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of both Leaf2Root and Family Solutions Counseling. With years of experience working with individuals, families, and professionals, Anna has developed a deep understanding of what makes mental health resources truly helpful.
Her work focuses on ADHD, trauma, attachment, and parenting—areas where she's seen firsthand how the right tools can make all the difference. Anna creates resources that she would want to use herself and recommend to others, blending clinical expertise with practical wisdom.
When she's not developing new tools or working with clients, Anna is usually exploring new ways to make mental health support more accessible and effective for everyone who needs it.
